Nearly All Offers On Table In Services Trade Deal, EU Says

Law360, New York (February 18, 2014, 5:38 PM EST) -- The sixth round of negotiations for a new services trade agreement opened in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday with the European Union reporting that 20 out of the 23 negotiating parties have made initial offers on which service sectors they will submit for liberalization under the deal.

The 28-nation bloc, which is hosting the latest round of talks, said that only Paraguay, Chile and Pakistan have yet to make opening offers as to which of their service markets they are prepared to open up and to what...
