Triple-S Unit Faces $7M Fine Over Medicare Data Breach

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 1:13 PM EST) -- Triple-S Management Corp. said Tuesday that its health insurance subsidiary has been hit with a $6.8 million penalty by Puerto Rico for failing to properly respond to a data breach involving more than 13,000 Medicare beneficiaries.
