Differing Opinions From Pa. On FRCP Amendments

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 2:17 PM EST) -- As previously reported, on Aug. 15, 2013, the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Judicial Conference of the United States (Standing Committee) promulgated for public comment the Civil Rules Advisory Committee’s proposed amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The proposed amendments are intended to reduce expense and delay in federal litigation by promoting cooperation among attorneys, proportionality in discovery, and judicial case management.
