'Star Associate' Sues Ex-Firm, Reed Smith

Law360, New York (February 24, 2014, 1:48 PM EST) -- A lawyer on Thursday in a New York court sued her former firm Schoeman Updike Kaufman Stern & Asher LLP, a slew of its lawyers, a secretary and Reed Smith LLP, among others, claiming she went from "star associate" to a pariah with no job after being fired for complaining of bad air at Schoeman's Fifth Avenue offices.
