FDIC Blasts JPMorgan's Tax Claims In WaMu Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (February 25, 2014, 2:48 PM EST) -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. moved Monday to nix a JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit's claim that the agency must cover costs associated with outstanding tax liabilities stemming from the bank's acquisition of Washington Mutual Inc., telling a Washington federal court that tax claims are being hashed out in a separate action.
