Microsoft Ducks Sanctions Over Lost Source Code In IP Row

Law360, New York (February 25, 2014, 5:29 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. might have been negligent in its loss of the source code for software that allegedly infringed a Robocast Inc. Web browser patent, but the technology giant didn’t willfully destroy evidence or deserve to be sanctioned, a Delaware federal judge ruled on Tuesday.
