China Lifts Duties On European X-Ray Gear After WTO Loss

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 3:34 PM EST) -- China has done away with anti-dumping duties on X-ray security equipment from the European Union following its loss in a World Trade Organization dispute over the trade measures, the European Commission said Wednesday.

The EU commission announced that China had on Feb. 19 formally revoked anti-dumping duties it had been applying on imports of European-made X-ray security scanners. China had previously lost a WTO dispute in which the EU challenged China's decision to level the trade duties, the EU said.
