EIB Shells Out $213M For UK Water Management Project

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 4:25 PM EST) -- The European Investment Bank said Wednesday it will loan €156 million ($213.5 million) toward a total $491.3 million project that's intended to improve wastewater and water system management in two U.K. counties.

The $491.3 million South West Water & Wastewater AMP5-2 project will see South West Water — an arm of U.K. environmental utility infrastructure firm Pennon Group PLC — work toward enhancing the wastewater and waste management systems of Devon and Cornwall counties in the U.K.
