Vygon Escalates Catheter Dispute With RyMed

Law360 (March 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A French health care company has accused a U.S. catheter maker of infringing a patent for a connector that links an intravenous set with a catheter, even as the U.S. company has a separate suit pending that claims invalidity and noninfringement of the same patent.

Vygon Corp. of Ecouen, France, filed a complaint against Franklin, Tenn.-based RyMed Technologies Inc. on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, bringing a single count of willful infringement.
