Law360, Los Angeles (February 27, 2014, 11:18 PM EST) -- Video footage of an activist interrupting an oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday has been posted on YouTube, marking the first known instance of video recorded during a high court proceeding being made public.

The two-minute video depicts a man identified as Kai Newkirk, a member of the activist group 99Rise, standing up in the back of the courtroom and briefly speaking about campaign finance reform before being escorted away by police.
