Former UBS Banker Pleads Guilty In Tax Probe

Law360, Los Angeles (February 26, 2014, 9:32 PM EST) -- Ex-UBS banker Martin Lack on Wednesday pled guilty in Florida federal court for his participation in a scheme to help U.S. taxpayers hide their money in Swiss bank accounts.

Lack entered the plea in court Wednesday after winning a few extra days' time to appear, according to court records. The Florida court had allowed him to return to his home in Switzerland while awaiting further proceedings, according to an earlier motion.

His sentencing is scheduled for early May.
