FTC, TJX Settle Retail Data Breach Cases

Law360, New York (March 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a settlement with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission following what has been called the largest retail security breach in U.S. history, discount retailer TJX Cos. Inc. has agreed to implement a comprehensive security program and be audited by security professionals every other year for 20 years.
