Solvay, Ineos Offer To Shed Assets In Joint Venture Bid

Law360, New York (February 28, 2014, 1:26 PM EST) -- Solvay SA and Ineos Group Ltd. have offered to divest a series of chemical plants and other assets across Europe in a bid to win clearance from the European Union's antitrust regulator for a proposed $5.8 billion plastics joint venture, the companies said in a joint statement issued Friday.
