Ministerial Exception Bars Priest's Race Bias Claim

Law360, New York (March 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court has affirmed a lower court's ruling that the race discrimination claim of a black priest is barred by a clause in the civil rights code meant to free religious institutions from governmental involvement with the management of their internal affairs.
