Calif. Bench Sees Slow But Steady Boost In Diversity: Survey

Law360, San Diego (February 28, 2014, 9:00 PM EST) -- The ranks of the California judiciary continued to slowly but steadily grow more diverse, with women making up 32.2 percent of the state’s judges and justices late last year, compared to 31.3 percent in the previous year, and with several minority groups making small strides toward greater representation on the bench, according to a survey issued Friday.
