Cook Medical Wins Injunction Against Ex-Employees

Law360, New York (March 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has granted heart-graft-maker Cook Medical Inc.’s request for a preliminary injunction barring four former employees and rival Endologix Inc. from violating Cook’s noncompete agreement and selling competing products to Cook customers.

Judge Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana issued the injunction at a hearing after ruling that Cook’s claims that its former employees violated certain parts of their noncompete agreements are likely to succeed on their merits.
