St. Luke's Tries To Halt Saltzer Divestiture Amid Appeal

Law360, New York (March 5, 2014, 1:58 PM EST) -- St. Luke's Health System Ltd. on Tuesday moved to stay an order requiring the Idaho hospital to divest a recently acquired physician group while it appeals the Federal Trade Commission's victory to the Ninth Circuit.

The hospital filed a notice of appeal challenging a district court's conclusion that St. Luke's acquisition of Saltzer Medical Group PA, the largest independent physician practice group in the area, violated federal and Idaho antitrust law.
