Hogan Lovells Atty Sued For Assaulting Opposing Counsel

Law360, Los Angeles (March 5, 2014, 9:03 PM EST) -- A New York attorney has sued Hogan Lovells partner David Dunn in state court for allegedly using his briefcase “as a weapon” to assault the plaintiff after Dunn lost a foreclosure ruling in a Brooklyn court room, according to media reports on Wednesday.

The lawsuit, filed by plaintiff Bruce Richardson, who specializes in criminal defense, foreclosure defense and title actions, raises allegations that the March 2013 encounter left Richardson in need of back surgery. The suit was filed last week in Brooklyn Supreme Court, according to...
