Jury Selected In Lay, Skilling Trial

Law360 (January 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Houston Judge Sim Lake made quick work of interviewing the 100 potential jurors in the trial of former Enron bigwigs Ken Lay and Jeffery Skilling, naming 12 jurors and four alternates after just one day of jury selection.

“I can assure you this will be one of the most interesting and important cases ever tried,” Lake told the assembled jury candidates at the beginning of the day.
