DOJ Sues Philly School District Over Facial Hair Policy

Law360, New York (March 6, 2014, 1:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice filed suit against the School District of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania federal court on Wednesday, accusing it of discriminating against a school police officer by requiring him to trim his beard in violation of his Islamic religious beliefs.
