Top Ex-Dewey Execs Likely To Face Criminal Charges

Law360, Los Angeles (March 5, 2014, 9:49 PM EST) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP's former leaders will likely be indicted on criminal charges for misleading other lawyers and investors over the now-bankrupt firm's financial well-being, while additional criminal charges could be filed against other ex-Dewey employees, according to a Wednesday report.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance is expected to lodge criminal counts, potentially including larceny, against Steven Davis, Stephen DiCarmine and Joel Sanders  — who previously served as Dewey's chairman, executive director and chief financial officer, respectively — the New York Times said.
