Insurers Urge Fed, State Regulators To Align Positions

Law360, New York (March 10, 2014, 4:08 PM EDT) -- An insurance trade group on Sunday warned the National Conference of Insurance Legislators of a “strong need” for the federal government and state insurance regulators to coordinate their positions if they want to sway international policy on key insurance issues.

Property Casualty Insurers Association of America provided the input to NCOIL at their spring meeting in Savannah, Ga., where lawmakers sought input as they developed top priorities for the international front.
