Senate Confirms Judges For 10th Circ., Mich.

Law360, Washington (March 12, 2014, 1:06 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate voted Wednesday to approve five nominees for vacant federal judicial positions, filling an open slot on the Tenth Circuit and four on the Michigan bench, with all nominees except one confirmed unopposed.

Tenth Circuit nominee Carolyn B. McHugh, a presiding judge on the Utah Court of Appeals, was confirmed 98-0, after a cloture vote on Monday set an end to debate on her nomination.
