4th Circ. Revives Widow's Tort Claims Against Insurer

Law360, Los Angeles (March 10, 2014, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The Fourth Circuit on Monday clarified its policy on a West Virginia law that enables plaintiffs to file tort claims over the handling of contract disputes, siding with a widow who filed suit against her husband's life insurance company after it dragged out her claims process.
