By Drew Singer (March 12, 2014, 7:31 PM EDT) -- The usual suspects appear in this year's list of the people with the greatest influence over tax policy, but the 2014 winner is neither the president nor an IRS official, according to a survey by law firm Miller & Chevalier Chtd.

The survey — released Tuesday, commissioned by Miller & Chevalier and conducted by the National Foreign Trade Council — heard from 129 vice presidents, directors and managers of tax at multinational corporations. The respondents come from industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, utilities, financial, automotive, health care, defense, hospitality and agriculture, among others.
