Settlement With Pa. Game Commission Exec Raises Eyebrows

Law360, New York (March 12, 2014, 7:08 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Game Commission on Wednesday released a copy of a controversial $220,000 settlement agreement with its former executive director after news of the agreement raised concerns from state officials over it being an improper severance.

The two-page settlement agreement with former Game Commission Executive Director Carl Roe, who stepped down in January, has been criticized by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett’s office as an improper use of state funds.
