Pa. Auditor To Examine Funds From $206B Tobacco Deal

Law360, Philadelphia (March 13, 2014, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania’s auditor general said Wednesday that he’d ordered his office to begin an inquiry into how the state’s Department of Health oversees the funds distributed to research facilities as part of a $206 billion settlement with the country’s biggest tobacco companies.
