Bazaarvoice Ruling Offers Antitrust Guidance: DOJ Official

Law360, Washington (March 13, 2014, 7:32 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice's recent court victory scuttling Bazaarvoice Inc.'s acquisition of rival PowerReviews Inc. should be a lesson to counsel that software-related acquisitions are subject to the same antitrust principles applied to those of brick-and-mortar industries, a top DOJ official said Thursday.
