Sen. Introduces Bill To Stop USPTO Fee Diversion

Law360, Los Angeles (March 13, 2014, 10:01 PM EDT) -- Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., introduced a bill Thursday that would allow the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to keep all the fees it collects from applicants, preventing the funds from being “plundered” by legislators diverting the money to other agencies.
