Gov. Scott Directs $27M To Central Fla. Clean Water Projects
Law360, Miami (March 14, 2014, 8:14 PM EDT) -- Gov. Rick Scott and Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Secretary Herschel Vinyard on Friday announced more than $27 million in financing for 11 wastewater and stormwater projects in central Florida.
The money for the projects, which range in cost from $160,000 up to $6 million, comes in the form of loan funding from the department’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund program.
“We’ve made protecting Florida’s natural treasures a top priority, and this $27 million investment will make critical upgrades to water infrastructure so we can help improve water quality for families in our central Florida,” Scott said in a statement....
