Bankrupt Green Field Gets Judge's Nod For $50M Asset Deal

Law360, Wilmington (March 14, 2014, 8:18 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday blessed Green Field Energy Services Inc.'s proposed sale agreement, a deal in which a unit of Gordon Brothers Group LLC will pay the oil services company at least $50 million for the right to auction the bulk of its assets.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross approved the debtor's agency agreement with Gordon Brothers Commercial & Industrial LLC at a hearing in Wilmington, after first denying an objection from Green Field's post-petition lenders.
