Fried Frank Co-Chair Hands Off Reins Early To Goldman Vet

Law360, New York (March 14, 2014, 3:15 PM EDT) -- Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP's Valerie Ford Jacob has stepped down from her role as firm co-chairwoman, according to a firm memo obtained Friday, leaving control to David J. Greenwald, who rejoined the 500-lawyer firm in 2013 after some 20 years at Goldman Sachs & Co.

Jacob stepped aside prior to a pre-planned 2015 changing-of-the-guard to focus on clients after the firm saw a rebound in profits per partner in 2013 after a dismal 2012. Her move was first reported by the American Lawyer...
