Ark. Gov. Vetoes Tax Exemption For Fracking Material

Law360, New York (March 17, 2014, 8:20 PM EDT) -- Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe on Monday vetoed a legislative proposal that would have created a new tax exemption for materials and fluids used during hydraulic fracturing, saying lawmakers didn't follow the normal procedure for changing the state's tax laws.
