Feds Delay Proposed Rule To Increase Oil Spill Liability Cap

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 5:25 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior on Tuesday extended the comment period for a new rule that would raise the threshold on economic and natural resources damage claims stemming from offshore oil spills to nearly $134 million, providing the public another 30 days to submit feedback on the proposal.
