Fed. Circ. Junks $1B Patent Suit Against Qualcomm

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 7:33 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Tuesday affirmed the dismissal of Gabriel Technologies Corp.'s $1 billion GPS patent suit against Qualcomm Inc., and backed a lower court's order that Gabriel must pay a $12.4 million sanction for bringing a baseless suit with "obvious shortcomings."
