China Strikes Deal Over European Polysilicon Imports

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 3:21 PM EDT) -- European regulators announced on Tuesday that China has agreed to drop an anti-dumping investigation into European imports of solar-grade polysilicon after reaching a pricing agreement with a German importer.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce ended its investigation into European polysilicon imports after German manufacturer Wacker Chemie AG agreed not to sell polysilicon in China below a minimum price, the European Commission said in a statement.
