Ind. Court OKs Duke Energy $3.3B Plant Funding Settlement

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 4:44 PM EDT) -- An Indiana appeals court on Wednesday affirmed the state utility regulator's approval of a settlement between Duke Energy Corp.’s Indiana arm, a ratepayers' rights agency and others over construction costs for a $3.3 billion coal gasification plant, nixing environmental groups’ attempt to vacate the settlement.
