Del. Gov. Taps Corporate Atty As Strine's Chancery Successor

Law360, Wilmington (March 20, 2014, 5:52 PM EDT) -- Delaware Gov. Jack A. Markell on Wednesday tapped Wilmington, Del., attorney Andre G. Bouchard to head the influential Court of Chancery, where he would step into the chancellor's seat left vacant by Leo E. Strine Jr.'s ascension to the state Supreme Court.

Bouchard, managing partner of corporate law boutique Bouchard, Margules & Friedlander PA, will become the court's 21st chancellor if confirmed to the position by the Delaware state senate.
