Bain Spends $851M To Beef Up Brazil Health Holdings

Law360, New York (March 25, 2014, 2:04 PM EDT) -- Private equity mainstay Bain Capital LLC on Tuesday confirmed it had scooped up Brazilian health insurer Grupo Notre Dame Intermedica to deepen its toehold in the country's health industry in a deal that multiple reports pegged at 2 billion Brazilian reais ($851 million).
