ClearPlay's Claims Dismissed In Suit Over DVD Filters

Law360 (April 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has dismissed claims brought by ClearPlay Inc. in a dispute with rival Nissim Corp. over the company's efforts to get ClearPlay's allegedly infringing DVD players pulled from Target stores.

U.S. District Judge Paul C. Huck of the Southern District of Florida issued an order Wednesday dismissing ClearPlay's claims that Nissim's actions constituted tortious interference with a contractual relationship and with potential advantageous business relationships under state law.
