6th Circ. Extends Stay Of Gay Marriage In Mich.

Law360, Los Angeles (March 25, 2014, 9:48 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit on Tuesday extended its stay of a Michigan federal judge's order halting the enforcement of an amendment to the state’s constitution and its implementing statutes excluding same-sex couples from marriage, citing a U.S. Supreme Court's issuance of a similar stay.
