Fed. Circ. Backs Denial Of 'Stone Lion' Trademark

Law360, New York (March 26, 2014, 3:40 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Wednesday affirmed the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's rejection of a bid by Stone Lion Capital Partners LP to register its name as a trademark with the office, finding a likelihood of confusion with fellow investment management firm Lion Capital LLP.
