GSK Warns Of Tampering With Weight Loss Drug

Law360, New York (March 27, 2014, 2:00 PM EDT) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC said Wednesday that some bottles of its Alli over-the-counter weight loss medication have been tampered with, and that it has begun an investigation into the problem.

The company did not say exactly how the products were tampered with, other than that bottles in a normal-looking package contain a mix of tablets and capsules of various shapes and colors. Normal Alli is a turquoise blue capsule with a dark blue band.

Lot numbers and expiration dates on the tampered-with bottles do not match the lot...
