Uranium Digging Near Grand Canyon Stopped For Now

Law360, New York (April 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order barring exploratory drilling for uranium on public lands near the Grand Canyon while a lawsuit brought by environmental groups seeking to stop the drilling continues.

Judge Mary H.
