Publisher Claims Einstein’s Notes Copied From Prof

Law360, New York (April 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Educational publisher Faulkner Press LLC has accused study guide producer Einstein’s Notes of marketing copyrighted lecture notes and practice questions it says were illegally snagged from a professor at the University of Florida.

The lawsuit, filed April 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, claims that Einstein's Notes and its parent company, Class Notes LLC, distribute for-profit materials “copied slavishly or derived directly” from the professor's original lectures and published works.
