Fidelity Mortgage Hit With Another FLSA Suit

Law360 (April 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Florida-based Fidelity Direct Mortgage Corp. has been hit with a proposed class action alleging it did not pay overtime, making it the latest in a string of mortgage lenders to face similar suits.

Former Fidelity employee Charles Bazier filed the suit April 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The suit seeks to represent a class composed of all similarly situated employees who worked at the company's locations in Florida.
