Ex-Dreier Atty Challenges Ch. 11 Plan, 'Partner' Status

Law360, New York (April 4, 2014, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A former Dreier LLP attorney on Friday challenged the defunct firm’s liquidation plan, arguing that it defines the term “partner” so broadly that it hurts his ability to defend himself against potential unfinished business claims.

Eric Osterberg, who runs Osterberg LLC, says he was only promoted to partner a month before the firm’s sole owner, Marc Dreier, was arrested and the firm collapsed.
