Fla. Senate Gives 'Take Gun To Work' Law A Shot

Law360, New York (April 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Florida workplaces would be unable to stop employees from bringing guns to work under a new bill approved by the Florida Senate on Wednesday.

The bill, Preservation and Protection of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms in Motor Vehicles Act of 2008, was approved by a vote of 26-13 and will now go to Gov. Charlie Crist to sign into law.
