Wornick Plan Heads To Vote Despite Objections

Law360, New York (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The bankruptcy court overseeing the Chapter 11 proceedings of The Wornick Co. has approved the company’s amended disclosure statement, allowing the bankrupt military food supplier to send its reorganization plan to creditors for their votes.

Judge J. Vincent Aug of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio approved the disclosure statement and balloting rules at a hearing Thursday, despite objections voiced by Wornick’s ad hoc committee of certain senior secured noteholders.
