Senate Votes To Extend Clean Energy Tax Incentives

Law360 (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate voted Thursday to extend certain tax credits that encourage the use of clean and renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power.

The Clean Energy Tax Stimulus Act, which was included as an amendment to the Foreclosure Prevention Act, passed the Senate by a vote of 88-8. It will now move to the House of Representatives for consideration.
